With over 18 years of experience in the hair care industry, this Chicago native has made a significant impact through her commitment to hair growth and styling solutions. Angela co-created the Cantu Protective Styles by Angela collection, launched in 2023, showcasing her expertise in natural hair care and extensions.

Angela's impressive career spans roles as an extensions retailer, TV personality, and author. She gained fame on We TV’s LA Hair, and her on-screen presence extends to major networks including VH1, BET, FOX, NBC, and WE TV.

A passionate educator, Angela has collaborated with esteemed brands such as Mielle Organics, Girl + Hair, Camille Rose Naturals, and Kosa Professional. She has also co-developed a protective styling line with Cantu Beauty, available in retailers globally, further enhancing her contribution to the natural hair community.

In addition to her product development, Angela authored and self-published the children's book “Hair,” promoting the importance of loving and caring for natural hair from a young age.

Angela’s Emmy Award was earned for her exceptional work with rapper and actress Eve on CBS’s The Talk, and she holds 3 nominations and extensive styling credits in both television and film as a proud member of The Hair and Makeup Guild Local 706. 

Above all, Angela’s greatest joy comes from her family. Recently welcoming her son with husband André, she cherishes the journey of motherhood while continuing to thrive in her personal and professional life.
